"Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die" was one of the names given to the boutique at 430 King's Road in Chelsea, London, run by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren in the early 1970s. Initially called "Let It Rock," the shop catered to Teddy Boy fashion and rock memorabilia. It was renamed "Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die" in 1972, reflecting a shift toward biker clothing and rebellious aesthetics.
Later, the shop underwent another transformation and became "SEX," specializing in provocative and fetish-inspired fashion. By 1976, it was renamed "Seditionaries," aligning with the punk movement and the rise of the Sex Pistols, whom McLaren managed. The boutique became iconic for its DIY aesthetic and controversial designs, influencing punk fashion and culture.
