"Hardcore Uproar" is a 1990 acid house track by the British electronic group Together. The group was formed by Suddi Raval, Jon Donaghy, and Mark Hall, who were regulars at the legendary Haçienda nightclub in Manchester.
The song was originally created as a white-label track to be played at the Haçienda, but it quickly gained popularity and climbed to No. 12 on the UK Singles Chart in August 1990. The track features samples from John Carpenter's "The End" and includes crowd noise recorded at an illegal rave in Nelson, which was raided by police the same night the recording was made.
The song became a rave anthem, helping to popularize the term "hardcore" for this style of electronic dance music. It has been featured on multiple compilations and was reworked in 2011 by Manchester rapper Trigga and Italian vocalist Sushy.
