The Professionals Magnificent T Shirt

The Professionals were a London punk band formed in 1979 by ex‑Sex Pistols members Steve Jones and Paul Cook, created after the collapse of their former group. They carried over the Pistols’ hard, multi‑tracked guitar sound and big chant‑style choruses, releasing early singles like “Just Another Dream” (1980) and “1‑2‑3”, the latter reaching No. 43 on the UK charts. Their momentum was repeatedly disrupted by legal disputes, lineup changes, and limited live activity, which stalled their debut album until 1981. The band originally split in 1982 but later reformed in 2015 under Cook’s leadership, continuing intermittently until 2024.
