Sweaty Nipples was an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1987. Known for their eclectic style, they blended genres like punk, funk metal, grunge, alternative metal, and industrial music. The band gained a reputation for their energetic live performances and quirky sense of humor.
Their debut album, Straight Outta Portland, was released in 1989. They later signed with Megaforce Records and released the album Bug Harvest in 1994, which sold over 30,000 copies. Their final album, Thrill Crazed Space Kids Blasting the Flesh Off Humans, came out in 1996 under Elemental Records. The band also participated in the Lollapalooza tour in 1992, further cementing their place in the alternative music scene.
Sweaty Nipples disbanded in the late 1990s, but their unique sound and offbeat approach left a lasting impression on fans of experimental rock.
