The Goodies was a British television comedy series that ran from 1970 to 1982, starring Tim Brooke‑Taylor, Graeme Garden, and Bill Oddie, who together formed a surreal, slapstick trio with the motto “We do anything, anytime, anywhere.” Across 76 episodes, the show blended situation comedy with absurd sketches, parodying current events and pop culture with off‑the‑wall scenarios such as giant kittens rampaging through London (Kitten Kong) or cream‑mine shootouts (The Bunfight at the OK Tearooms). Bill Oddie also composed much of the music, including the theme song, while the group’s antics earned them BAFTA nominations and a cult following.
