“Get to the chappa!” — a gloriously mispronounced gem from the action movie vault. It’s a line shouted by Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character, Major Dutch Schaefer, in the 1987 sci-fi thriller Predator. The actual line is “Get to the chopper!” — referring to a helicopter escape — but thanks to Arnie’s thick Austrian accent, it came out sounding like “choppa” and pop culture never looked back.
