Explorer, a shoot 'em up arcade game developed by Data East and released in 1982. The game features two distinct gameplay styles:
Tunnel Scene: Players navigate their ship through a tunnel in an on-rails shooter format, battling enemies that emerge from the background.
Fixed Shooter Scene: After the tunnel, the game transitions to a classic fixed shooter style, where the ship moves horizontally at the bottom of the screen while enemies attack in various formations from above.
It originally ran on the DECO Cassette System but later received a dedicated cabinet conversion.
