Bees Make Honey was a British pub rock band formed in 1971 in North London. They were part of the early pub rock movement in the UK, which laid the groundwork for punk and new wave music. The band was founded by Barry Richardson, who had previously performed at the "Tally Ho" pub, a key venue for the pub rock scene.
Their debut album, Music Every Night, was released in 1973 under EMI Records. Despite their talent and heavy touring, the band faced frequent lineup changes and challenges with record labels, leading to their breakup in 19742.
Bees Make Honey's music and influence are still celebrated in compilations and anthologies of the pub rock era.
